3. Service Appointments

3.1 Scheduling

Appointments may be scheduled online, by phone, or through authorized partners. Time windows provided are estimates and may vary due to traffic, prior appointments, or unforeseen delays.

3.2 Cancellations & Rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.
Missed appointments or cancellations with insufficient notice may incur service call fees.

3.3 Service Call Fee

A diagnostic or service call fee may apply to all visits. This fee covers technician travel and diagnostic evaluation and is non-refundable, even if the repair is declined.


4. Estimates & Repairs

4.1 Estimates

Technicians provide written or verbal estimates before performing repairs. Estimates are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Parts & Labor

All parts used are new, OEM, or high-quality equivalents unless otherwise specified.
Labor includes diagnosis, repair work, testing, and safety checks.

4.3 Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe, if appliances are inaccessible, or if the requested repair is not feasible or violates safety standards.


5. Payments

Payment is due upon completion of service unless prior arrangements have been approved.
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and approved digital payment methods.

Unpaid balances may be subject to:

  • Late fees
  • Collection efforts
  • Withholding of future service

6. Warranty

6.1 Labor Warranty

Labor is warrantied for 30 days from the service date, and parts are covered for 3 months under the manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty.

6.2 Warranty Limitations

Warranty does not cover:

  • New problems unrelated to the original repair
  • Pre-existing issues not addressed during service
  • Misuse, neglect, or improper installation by third parties
  • Commercial use of residential appliances unless specifically agreed upon

We reserve the right to inspect appliances before determining warranty eligibility.


7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide safe access to appliances, utilities, and workspace
  • Ensure pets are secured
  • Provide accurate information about appliance issues
  • Maintain proper electrical and plumbing connections

Failure to comply may delay service or result in additional fees.


8. Safety & Liability Limitations

While we take every precaution, iFix Appliances is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear revealed during inspection
  • Loss of food or perishables
  • Secondary or consequential damages arising from appliance failure
  • Issues caused by improper prior repairs or modifications

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
